I’m Erica R. Anthony, founder, and owner of eraPHOTO. I’m a Chicago-based photographer specializing in Weddings, Lifestyle, and Commercial Photography.
I have been a lifelong student of photography and I hold a degree from the University of St. Francis with a B.A. in Mass Communications with a Minor in Photography and Graphic Design.
I pride myself on making sure each and every person who steps in front of my lens feels comfortable and leaves feeling confident. Let me tell your story.
Now that you know my credentials, here’s a little bit more about me when I’m not behind the camera. I'm a Taurus, and yes we do love luxury and good food. I'm a huge romantic and I love to bring that across in my images. I love binge-watching every period piece I can find streaming. If I can find the time I love to game. I and the mailman are on a first-name basis thanks to my slight Amazon addiction.
Traveling is my favorite thing to do which is why I became a destination photographer! I am obsessed with all things black (all the better for me to be a ninja on your wedding day). I shoot between 25 and 35 weddings annually. When I work I go ALL IN, you will see me climbing on things, on the ground, whatever it is to get that shot! I love creating beautiful images but more importantly, I love serving couples on the greatest day of their lives!
